Searching, Filtering, and Column Customization
The Clients page is built to handle long lists. Use search, filters, and column controls to quickly find the right record and tailor the view to how your team works.
Search
The Search box at the top of the Clients page matches across:
Client name (individual or company)
Primary contact name
Email address
Phone number
Client ID / external reference
Results update as you type. Press Esc or clear the field to return to the full list.
Filters
Open the filter panel (or use the dropdowns next to the search box) to narrow the list by:
Client type: Individual or Company
Category: Residential, Commercial, etc.
Status: Active, Archived, or All
Tags: one or more tags (results match clients with any selected tag)
Assigned team member: show only clients you or a teammate own
Created date: date range
Active filters are shown as chips above the list. Click the Γ on a chip to remove a single filter, or Clear all to reset.
Sorting
Click any column header to sort by that field. Click again to reverse the order. The current sort is indicated by an arrow next to the column name.
Customizing columns
Click the Columns button above the table.
Toggle columns on or off. For example show Last Contact, Tags, Assigned To, or hide Client ID if you don't use it.
Your selection is saved per user, so each teammate gets their own preferred layout.
Mobile view
On phones and small tablets, the table switches to a card layout. Each card shows the client name, type, primary contact, and tags. Tap a card to open the workspace; long-press to reveal quick actions.
Server-side pagination
Large client lists are paginated on the server, so search and filter performance stays fast even with thousands of records. Use the page controls at the bottom to navigate.
Note: Sales users see only clients assigned to them. Admins see every client in the organization. Filters and search respect these role-based visibility rules.
