Creating a Company Client

Use the Company client type for businesses, property managers, contractors, and any organization with multiple points of contact. You can record a primary contact and add secondary contacts (billing, facilities, etc.) on the same record.

Open the wizard

  1. Go to Clients and click + New Client.

  2. Select Company on the Client Type screen.

Choose how to create the company

Pick Manual entry to type the details, or start from a template if your organization has one configured.

Fill in company details

  • Company name (required)

  • Client ID (optional)

  • Website, industry, and category

  • Phone and company email (general inbox)

  • Mailing address: ZIP can auto-fill city and state

  • Notes for any internal context

Primary contact

Every company should have one primary contact, the main person you communicate with. Enter their full name, email, phone, and (optionally) role. This contact is used by default on proposals and signature requests.

Note: On documents that need an individual signer, Loyva maps the company's primary contact to the signer role automatically, so you don't end up with the company name in a name field.

Secondary contacts

Add as many secondary contacts as you need. For example a billing contact, a facilities manager, or a project lead. For each one:

  • Name (required)

  • Email and phone

  • Role / title

  • Preferred contact method

  • Secondary contacts can be selected later when sending proposals or signature requests.

Team and tags

Assign the Sales and Custodian team members who should have access, then add any tags that help you categorize the company (e.g. "Commercial", "Property Manager", "High Priority").

Save

Click Create Client. The company is added to your Clients list with the primary contact shown alongside it.
