Where to look

Open Signatures in the sidebar (or the Signatures tab on a client) to see all envelopes. Click any envelope to drill into per-signer status.

Signer statuses

• Awaiting: sequential flow; this signer's turn hasn't come yet.

• Sent: invitation delivered, signer hasn't opened it.

• Viewed: signer opened the link.

• Completed: signer finished signing.

• Declined: signer declined to sign.

Envelope-level status

• In progress: at least one signer is still pending.

• Completed: all signers have signed and the vault Copy/Authoritative Copy have been generated.

• Recalled / Voided: explicitly stopped (see the recall/void article).

Live data

Status is fetched in real time from the signing provider, not just from Loyva's local cache, so what you see matches the signer's actual state, including views and declines that happened seconds ago.

Notifications

• Document admins receive in-app notifications for key events (sent, viewed, completed, declined).

• Email notifications follow each user's notification preferences.

• Major events are broadcast to all org admins so the team has visibility.

Note: If a signer's name looks different from what you entered, it's usually because the signing provider syncs it back from the consent step. Loyva keeps the local DB in sync automatically.
