Getting Paid with Loyva Payments
Loyva Payments turns a signed contract into money in the bank. It connects your Stripe account to Loyva so invoices, subscriptions, and one-time charges all flow through the same place where you draft proposals, send envelopes, and vault contracts.
What you can do
Send one-time invoices for setup fees, equipment, or labor.
Bill recurring monthly revenue (RMR) from a signed contract as a subscription.
Send hybrid invoices that combine one-time charges with a subscription on the same bill.
Let customers pay through a hosted Stripe checkout page, card or ACH.
Give customers a billing portal to update card details, view past invoices, and manage subscriptions.
Track invoice status (open, paid, past due, void) directly in Loyva.
How it fits the workflow
You send a proposal and the customer accepts it.
You convert the proposal into a signed contract.
The signed contract is vaulted as an Authoritative Copy.
Loyva uses the RMR and one-time charges from that contract to create the first invoice or subscription in Stripe.
The customer receives a branded payment email and pays through the hosted Stripe page.
Stripe webhooks update the invoice status in Loyva automatically.
Branding
Loyva uses Stripe Connect with destination charges and on_behalf_of, which means the customer sees your business name on their card statement and on the Stripe-hosted invoice, not Loyva. Receipts, the billing portal, and the payment confirmation all carry your branding.
Note: Loyva charges a flat 1% application fee on each successful charge. Stripe's standard processing fees apply on top. See the platform fees article for details.
