Release Notes — July 13, 2026
Pricing Schedule exhibits, auto-invoicing, and a smoother send flow
This release closes the loop from proposal to contract to invoice. Signed contracts now carry a frozen pricing snapshot, invoices generate automatically when signing completes, and Sign+Pay lets clients pay the moment they finish signing. We also cleaned up a long list of e-sign builder rough edges and shipped a custodian vault viewer.
Proposals, Contracts & Invoicing
[New] Pricing Schedule exhibit on contracts (Phase 1) A proposal's line items can now be bound to a contract envelope. When the contract is sent for signature, the pricing is frozen as a snapshot and a Pricing Schedule exhibit page is automatically appended to the end of the signed document. Edits to the proposal after sending never change the already-sent contract.
[New] Invoice from a signed contract's pricing snapshot (Phase 2) Once a proposal-bound contract is fully signed, you can generate an invoice directly from it. Line items and totals are pulled from the frozen snapshot taken at send time, never from the live proposal — so what was signed is what gets billed.
[New] Inline pricing tables, auto-invoice, and Sign+Pay (Phase 3) Three additions to the contract flow: pricing tables can now render inline inside the contract body; contracts can auto-create an invoice the moment signing completes; and Sign+Pay seeds the payment amount from the contract pricing so signers can pay immediately after signing.
[New] View signed contracts from a proposal Open the signed contract PDF directly from the customer detail page and the client Proposals tab — no more hunting through envelopes or the vault.
E-Sign & Send for Signature
[Fixed] Org signer prefill no longer leaks client data When the sender adds themselves as a signer, their prefilled fields now come from the organization and their own user profile. Client signers continue to prefill from the client record, with no cross-contamination either way.
[Improved] Every signer must have at least one field Multi-signer envelopes now block progression if any signer has no fields placed, with a toast that names the offending signer(s). Single-signer envelopes are unaffected.
[Fixed] Resuming a draft restores your Document Source and template Draft envelopes now correctly restore whether you chose Upload or Template on step 1, and re-select the original template you picked instead of coming back blank.
[Improved] Builder layout: independent scrolling and wrapped filenames The document builder now fills the dialog with no outer scrollbar — the PDF canvas and fields sidebar scroll independently, the mouse wheel works over the embed, and long filenames wrap instead of being cut off.
[Fixed] No more crash on templates with unnamed fields Templates containing fields with an empty name previously crashed the send dialog to a blank screen. They now render safely and the flow completes normally.
[Fixed] Reassigning an envelope moves third-party document links When an envelope is reassigned to a different customer, linked DocuSign and Adobe documents now follow it to the new customer, with the audit trail recording the reassignment.
[Improved] Builder button renamed to "Preview" The builder toolbar's "Preview with Data" button is now simply "Preview".
Vault & Custodian
[New] Custodian vault viewer External controlling parties (custodians) can now view vaulted documents through the client portal vault, gated by the vault PIN, with proper handling of the signed PDF and certificate and full access auditing.
[Fixed] Calendar month arrows fully clickable The date picker's month navigation arrows are now clickable across the whole button, not just a few edge pixels — noticeable in places like contract terms date fields.
UI Fixes
[Improved] Wider compose-email dialog The compose-email dialog is wider and input focus rings are no longer clipped at the dialog edges.
[Fixed] Cross-origin script errors no longer trigger the runtime overlay Errors thrown by third-party scripts (like embedded signing or payment widgets on another origin) no longer surface the app's red runtime-error overlay. Errors in app code still do.
