User Types & Roles

Loyva uses three roles to enforce separation of duties β€” especially around vaulted authoritative copies. Choose the role that matches each team member's day-to-day responsibilities.

The Three Roles

Admin β€” Full system access. Manages users, templates, integrations, billing, reports, and the vault. Can create, send, and vault documents. Use sparingly.

Sales β€” Client-facing work. Creates and manages their own clients, builds proposals, sends documents for signature, and tracks status. Cannot manage templates, vault documents, or access Reports/Settings beyond personal preferences.

Custodian β€” Post-signature compliance. Views vaulted documents, downloads Reference Copies and Audit Logs.. Cannot create, edit, or send documents β€” by design, to preserve authoritative-copy integrity under UCC Β§ 9-105.

Steps

  1. Open Settings β†’ Team.

  2. Review the Role column for each member.

  3. Click a user to change their role if responsibilities have shifted.
