Sending a Proposal to a Client
Once a proposal is built and previewed, you can send it directly from Loyva. The client receives a branded email with a secure link to view, accept, or decline.
Open the Send dialog
Open the proposal you want to send.
Click Send Proposal in the top right.
Confirm the recipient
The client's primary email is filled in by default. You can edit it for this send, or add CC recipients (project manager, billing contact, etc.).
Customize the message
Subject: pre-filled with the proposal title; edit as needed.
Message: a short note that goes above the link. You can save an email template if you send similar messages often.
Variables like {{Client Name}} work in the subject and message.
Send
Click Send. The proposal status changes to Sent, and a timestamp is recorded. The client gets an email from your organization's branded sender, with a button to open the proposal.
What the client sees
A view-only web version of the proposal with your branding.
Buttons to Accept or Decline.
An optional comments field on decline.
Resending and recalling
Resend: use this if the client lost the email; it sends the same link again.
Recall: pulls the proposal back so the client can no longer act on it. Use this if you need to fix a mistake.
Note: Acceptance and decline are tracked automatically (see the Tracking article). You'll get a notification the moment the client takes action.
