Authoritative Copy (green badge)

• View: allowed in the browser viewer.

• Download: blocked.

• Print: blocked.

Every view is recorded in the audit log with user, timestamp, and IP. There is no way to extract the file, by design.

Copy (blue badge)

• View: allowed.

• Download: allowed.

• Print: allowed.

Use the Copy for anything operational: sharing internally, sending to a lender, attaching to an email, or printing a hard reference. The Copy is not the original; it is clearly marked as a copy.

Audit Log

• View, download, and print are all allowed.

• The Audit Log is meant to travel with the contract as evidence, so it has no extraction restrictions.

Why the difference?

UCC § 9-105 requires that the Authoritative Copy be a single, identifiable record under the control of the secured party. Letting anyone download or print it would defeat the singular-existence requirement. The Copy exists precisely so users have an everyday file to work with.
