Managing Clients
The Clients page is your central directory of every individual and company you do business with. From here you create new clients, assign team members, and open a client's workspace to access their documents, proposals, invoices, and emails.
How to use it
Go to Clients in the sidebar to see the full list (searchable, paginated, with customizable columns).
Click + New Client, then choose Commercial or Residential in the Client Type dialog.
Pick Create One for a single client, or Create Many to import several at once from a CSV file.
Fill in the Details form β name, contact info, Client ID, industry, tags, optional work info, address, and notes. Use Assign Team Members to grant access at creation time.
Click Create Client, then click any row to open the client's Workspace (Files, Signatures, Proposals, Billing, Emails, Notes).
FAQ
Q: Why does my custodian not see a client?
A: Custodians only see clients they're assigned to. Open the client and add them under Team, or assign them at creation in the Details form.
Q: Can I edit a client after creating it?
A: Yes β open the client and click Edit. Company structure uses Primary/Secondary contacts to keep signer names accurate.
Q: What's the CSV format for bulk import?
A: A template is provided on the Create Many screen β download it, fill it in, and re-upload.
