Resetting Your Password
Loyva uses a secure email-based reset flow. You don't change your password by typing the old one. Instead, Loyva emails you a one-time secure link.
From the Settings page
Open Settings, select My Preferences and scroll to the Security section.
Click Send Password Reset Email.
A confirmation toast appears: "Password reset email sent."
Check the inbox for the email address on your account. Look in your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a minute or two.
Open the email and click the Reset Password link. It opens the Loyva reset page in your browser.
Enter a new password (minimum 6 characters) and confirm it.
Click Update Password. You'll be signed in automatically with the new credentials.
If you forgot your password and can't sign in
From the sign-in screen, click Forgot password? and enter your email. The same secure reset flow is triggered, no need to be signed in first.
Frequently asked questions
Why didn't I receive the password reset email?
Check your spam or junk folder first. If it still hasn't arrived after a few minutes, confirm that the email address on your account is correct, and try again. If the issue persists, contact your administrator.
Can my administrator see my password?
No. Both are stored as one-way hashes, even Loyva itself cannot read them. An administrator can trigger a reset, but cannot view your existing credentials.
